hikashop_product_shop differences free/essentials

i just put essentials over starter and it has messed up the plus/minus buttons in hikashop_product_stock

essentials is on the left, starter on the right

any help greatly appreciated

The display on the left is the default display of the - and + links in all the editions of HikaShop.
So it means that either you, or your template has personalized the display of these links.
So the change doesn't come from the upgrade and I can't tell you what to do exactly as I don't know what had been done by your template/yourself to get the display like on the right of your screenshot.
