Module Showing everywhere

I have assign a slide show module to show only on shop homepage but it is appearing everywhere under shop, any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's normal. You're still on the same menu, regardless of whether you're on the categories listing, the product page or the checkout.
Joomla's menu assignment restriction option of modules doesn't allow for a more fine grained restriction on a per page basis.
To do what you want, you would need to install Modules Advanced Manager which allows for such things:
