Product details not visible in front end of websit

My I.t guy upgraded my hika shop. However if I edit a price of a product and apply when you preview the page no product info. is visible in the front end of the website but the product details are still visible in the back end. My website is www.easyfitness.ie

I imagined once he upgraded the site the shop would work the same as before. Urgent help is required and advice is appreciated.

Could you try to enable the debug mode of joomla and tell us if you have any error message? (please don't do it if it is a live website). Does this occurs only on existing product or do you have the same issue when you try to create a new product?
Does a simple description work (no pic, no html)?

I contacted you before with the exact same problem I have a Weslo Cadence 21.0 treadmill for sale under the treadmill section and I have filled in detailed info. in the back end of the website but it is not shown up when you view the website? Also I have a proform 710zlt advertised also in the treadmill section and under the cart is says item not sold anymore and I don't know where this line has come from as it is not in the detailed information section. Can you please advise. Thank You

Hi,

The "item not sold anymore" message indicates that you entered a sale end date in the past in your product edition page.

Regarding the description missing, that's actually because in some of the variants of your product, you entered
a description with some empty characters and thus the system display this instead of the description coming from the main product.
Click on the "manage variants" button of your product and edit each variant and make sure that the description field is completely empty and save them. Then, it should display the description of the main product for all the variants of the product.

On the second screenshot, you have to click on a variant name in order to edit it, and then check that the description area is well empty, there must not be anything, no spaces, etc. else it display this description instead the one of the main product.

Click on the "code" link of each variant. there you'll see a page looking like the product edition page, but for the variant. There, the description field needs to be completely empty.
I would recommend to deactivate the editor" option of the HikaShop configuration in order to make sure that your HTML editor is not adding the hidden characters and hidding it from the display on the backend.
