different discounts for different products

Sirs.

I love HikaShop but I have a simple question.

I cannot see how to apply different discounts to different products. It seems the first discount set up is applied to all products. This is a severe limitation if true.

Any help would be appreciated please.

The restrictions of discounts will allow you to restrict a discount to a particular product/category:

Note that this capability in only available in commercial editions of HikaShop.

Thanks for the prompt response. That's is very disappointing. However if only one discount can be applied to all products in the non commercial version why does the system allow you to create more than one discount.

Because you can create coupons as well on that same interface.

If you want to have a discount for each product, I would instead recommend you to look at the "retail price" field of the product edition page. Enter the original price as the retail price and the discounted price as price of the product and you should get something close to what you want.
