Link Category to an External URL

Dears,

One of the category created on my hikashop should be redirected to an external URL instead of opening the list of products.
is it possible to make this feasible?

Hi,

Yes. Make sure that the "Force canonical URLs on listings" option of the HikaShop configuration is activated and enter that URL in the canonical URL field of the category when you edit it and that should do it.

thank you for your answer but im not able to locate this options,
I tried to find the URL but i only found something related to SEF.

please advise.

This option is under the "SEF url options" section of the Features tab of the HikaShop configuration that you can access via the menu Components->Hikashop>Configuration of your backend.

I would like to thank you again for your help,
however i didn't find the below option on my hikashop backend page, attached is a snapshot from the config page and the Category page where is added the URL.

is it related to a specific Version?

There is indeed missing options, are you sure that your version is up to date, the 2.3.4 ?
Please try to re-install over the current install.
