-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.5

Hello, im using latest hikashop, latest joomla, latest firefox and latest php on server.

Ok, please help me, i need to remove "specification" from product page (screenshot!)
Also, i need to replace "Public" and "Adults" with my own specifications.. I cant find that option.
We are selling in boxes, so total price is for full box. I need to put price per item. I put into description, but i need to put into Specification on right side. It looks better.
Can you help me? :)

Thank you.

Hi,

The block "Specifications" is generated if you are using Custom Fields, and the HTML on the linked product page is showing that you are having at least one custom field of the type "product" published and assigned to this product.

Now, on one hand you say you want to (completely?) remove the whole block.
Which is simple - depending on what you really want, just delete the custom field, or unpublish it from the frontend, or do not assign it to or use it for the particular product, or generally deactivate the display of custom fields in configurations.

Then you say you need to replace it with your own specifications (= custom fields)... so, I guess not remove it?
Well, then create and publish custom fields of the type "product" and assign/display them as per your liking.

More on custom fields - as usual - in the documentation: hikashop.com/support/support/documentati...shop-field-form.html

Need help with customisations of layouts, style or other site development? PM me!

Thank you for fast reply! It doesnt matter if i remove specification or change it. I can add description anytime so its not urgent to keep "Specification" up.
Thank you i will try it.

Hello,
A solution can be to :
- Use some CSS code (using the display : none; property) : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...the-display.html#css
- Directly edit the "show_default" file of the "product" view of your front-end template via "Hikashop->Display->Views": www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...-display.html#layout

Still i have no solution. I cant find this in custom fields so i cant unpublish it.
also In css file i cant find ID: hikashop_product_custom_info_main.

Any idea? :O

Here you can see option in backend:
ctrlv.cz/shots/2015/02/20/tTCz.png

this option is not available in my another products. In this case i need to hide this option from this product.
(some product have this "Specification" and some products not? I dont get it.)

Hello,
I'm currently having a 404 error, when I try to access to your product page, can you give me a valid URL to your product page so that I can directly check it ?
Thanks.

Hi,

You can add such CSS on your website as explained by Xavier:
#hikashop_product_custom_info_main{ display:none; }

That will hide the specifications area.
