Hello,
It won't be possible without some code customization of the files of the Hikahsop product view, but that will require development skills and won't be that easy.

Alternatively, you can display item custom fields (business edition) on your product listing, so that your customer will be able to select what they want directly on the product listing. And you could achieve quite easily a color selector like this on the listing thanks to such custom item fields.

Can you help how to put some custom field in product list? thank you

I've got this link. I think this is the right solution!
Succes.

Sorry for digging up an old topic ...

I would like, as well, to display characteristics on the product listing page. I'm interested in your alternative solution, but would this solution allow me to offer different options affecting the price ? Like a product offered with multiple weights options.
If not, I'm not too bad in php development, would it be possible to tell me where I would want to start to implement the display of characteristics on the product listing page ?

Thank you !

Hi,

The custom item fields cannot affect the product price by default.
But it's possible to do it with the development of a custom plugin.
I would actually recommend to use custom fields with such plugin rather than try to have the characteristics on the listing.
It will be way either to do and will require a lot less resources for your server, but above all, you won't loose your code each time you update since your code will be in a plugin.

First, I invite you to check the section "How to sell products by Width and Length ?" of our FAQ:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/106-faq.html#cart
There, there is a plugin you can base yourself on.
What is does is that it overrides the price of the product in the cart based on what the customer entered in two custom item fields of the product.

Great ! I am going to look into this.

Thank you very much !
