Turning related products off in accessories. was created by joelapiana
-- url of the page with the problem -- :
made4joomla.com/checkmatnew/index.php?op...mper-pads&Itemid=298
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.40
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : n/a
I'm working on an e-commerce site and we've installed the business version of Hikashop onto it. We created related products and called it accessories and we chose specific items for each product page. Unfortunately, when we chose the items, the respective accessory product page has all the other items listed on it, which we don't particularly want. Is there a way to shut or limit our accessories from listing these related products under their pages? Our programmer seems to be having an issue with it and I figured you'd know better than anyone.

Hi,
It's most probably because the option "Make product association in both ways" is activated in the HikaShop configuration page on your website.

I turned that off and we still seem to be having the same issue.

Turning off the option won't remove the links that you have between the products you already created. It will only be the case for new products you save.
You will have to delete manually the related products that were set automatically for the products where you don't want them.
