Incorrect Breadcrumbs

Hello,

We have a Hikashop module on our homepage that displays the newest products. When you go to the homepage of the website, go to the New Arrivals tab which displays the module, and click on a product, the breadcrumbs for the product are incorrect. The breadcrumb displays a random product name.

When I view the same product by navigating from the Jewelry menu item I do not have this problem. The breadcrumbs usually only show the categories and not the product name: www.screencast.com/t/T2mzFCKI

We have not updated to Hikashop 3. I did not see any mention of breadcrumb bugs being fixed in the new release so I thought it is safe to create a ticket. We won't be able to upgrade until we speak with the client. If this is just a matter of upgrading please let me know.

The fact that the breadcrumb module doesn't display the product name or the product name of another product are both wrong.
These indicates that your breadcrumb module is getting cached by something (the cache system of Joomla, a 3rd party caching extension, or a software on the server/network like Varnish).
So indeed, updating HikaShop won't help as there is no bug to fix in HikaShop as far as I can see. You just need to removing the caching on that module and it should display properly.
