Showing in articles preview of products accessible only to registered users

Hi,

I'm working on a website in which some products are only accessible to registered users.

Now I want to show to everyone, including visitors not logged in, just a preview of these products (photo, name) through the product tag plugin into articles. Visitors that click on the product link should then be warned to register/login to see full product page.

Is this possible? I noticed that products not public are not shown in product list popup in the content editor, nor appear in the article even if the plugin tag code is edited manually to match the desired product.

Can you help please?

Hello,

You can put ACL on the product to let it visible for some Joomla user groups.
You can put ACL on the prices to have specific tarifications to user groups, but also to make the product not available if the product has no price for the customer.

Afterwards, if you don't want to display a full product page for guest ; it would require some customization in your product page in order to that specific task. But there is no feature by design in HikaShop for that.
