Hello,

My product page site has 2 description tag,
One of them is pure meta description from Hikashop description meta field.
Other one come I suppose from Hikashop Social Network plugin.
How can I state Hikashop meta description for og:description ?
hungarianflavours.com/webaruhaz/mandula-porkolt-1kg

Best regards
Krisztian

Hi,

The og:description tag is generated by the HikaShop social network plugin using the product description indeed.
To change that to use the meta description, you would have to edit the file plugins/system/hikashopsocial/hikashopsocial.php and change the line:
$ret->description = $element->product_description;
to:
$ret->description = $element->product_meta_description;

Thank you very much
