Ban product purchase from a User Group

Dear support,
I have a special product that can be purchase only once per user.
I put the option into that product to add the buyer into a new usergroup called "special buyer". How can now restrict special buyers and deny them to purchase that product again?

Hi,

Go in the Products>Limits menu. There, you can create a limit for this product with the quantity set to 1 and the duration set to "forever". The rest will be automatic. You don't need to mess with the user groups.

I tried the limit feature as you advised and read the guide. Unfortunately I'm able to buy the product again and again, as shown on screenshot. Do I need to enable some sort of plugin?

We aren't able to reproduce your issue from your settings...
Can you provide these elements :
- An Url link to your backend access
- Backend user references (with maximum Acl)
