Hi,

After an update to 6.1, I noticed what I think is a content module showing up on all the individual product pages, even though it's not assigned to those pages.

Please see this screen recording: www.loom.com/share/7b257e205bf340eeac891737c09da9a2

The module is Hikashop content module, set to show lighting products in two categories (screenshots of the module settings attached).

I tried assigning another module to that area but they do not display.

What might I be missing?

Thank you,

Karen

I also tried unpublishing the module but it still displays. So this definitely has me stumped.

Hi,

This probably indicates that you've selected this module in the "Modules under the product page" setting of the HikaShop configuration page:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...html#display_product
So I don't think it is linked to the update.

My goodness, thank you, Nicolas. I never thought to look there, obviously. I don't remember ever setting that so maybe my client did it and I had no idea. Thank you again for the direction.

Hi,

No worries.
By default, HikaShop comes with a "related products" module instance of the "HikaShop content module" pre created and already selected in the "Modules under the product page" setting.
This allows for the display of a listing of the products selected in the "Related products" setting of the products.
What's likely is that this module instance has been repurposed for the listings instead of creating a new instance.
