Registration page responsive layout troubles

Registration page responsive layout troubles was created by mlabbe
I am experiencing a problem with my newly created shop.
All of the pages in my shop work beautifully in a responsive layout, with one exception. The login / registration screen is displaying with fixed field widths, and with the login form beside the registration fields, no matter the width of the browser. The page breaks out of my responsive template. Registration fields are barely visible as they run off the screen of a smartphone.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike,
The solution will probably be to customize your login/registration screen with some CSS code, by using for example media queries so that you can adapt the size of your fields regarding the size of the window.

Hello Mohamed,
Thank you for your quick reply. I guess I'm wondering why it would be that every other screen within the software behaves perfectly in a responsive layout, but that one screen doesn't include that functionality?
To add to my confusion, it appears that using the same screen to register here on the HikaShop website works perfectly as a responsive layout. Is that page likely to have customized code?
Cheers,
Mike

Hi,
The form should be adapted for small screens. I just tried on local and it's working.
So I think that you have some properties in your template which override ours, and that's why the registration form is no more responsive.
Thanks to read that tutorial in order to find from where the problem can come:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html
Or ask to your template provider.

I have a follow up observation that may be a contributing factor. I've been trying different templates to see if I can find one that will work without modifying the code. In testing with the default Protostar template, I noticed that the login/registration page appeared to be working correctly, until I placed any module in the right column position. The form displays right over any module in that position.
Out of curiousity, I took a look at the login/registration page here on the Hikashop site. There are no modules on the right, so it appears to be working, but if you resize your browser while viewing that page, you can see that the registration fields break out of the template there too. It's only a small overlap outside of the template, but it looks like there is something in the way that page is formatted that behaves differently than any other page in the software.
Do you have any suggestions as to what might cause that particular page to break out of the template, even here on the HikaShop site, when no other pages appear to do so?
Regards,
Mike

Hi,
When there is modules on the right side, they should go under the main content of the page on small screens.
So it should not cause that kind of problem. It seems that the form got some properties in "px" instead of in "%", so there is probably some changes to made here.
We are currently improving the main design of HikaShop, so we will have a look at this login/registration page.
Thanks to wait for a future release.

Thanks for the feedback. Any thoughts on when the new designs might be available?

Hi,
We do not have schedule for that but I think it will take some time for all improvements. I guess it will be split in several releases.
Because we want to have something awesome and beautiful
