receipt displays old URL was created by benrud
Hello Everyone,

The receipt is displaying the 'development' URL. I recently added a new domain name and I want the receipt to reflect the new URL, not the old development URL. Please direct me on how to update the URL that is included in the purchase receipt.

Hi,

What is the "receipt" you're talking about ?
Do you mean the "return URL" that you configured in the "return URL" parameter of your payment methods via the menu System>Payment methods ?

Hi,

For this link, we use the constant HIKASHOP_LIVE which is the Joomla JURI::root().
So this url is taken by Joomla, thanks to set the live_site value to:

crossfitshorts.com/

Hi,

As Xavier said, HikaShop simply displays the URL that Joomla tells it to use. And that URL comes from the "live site" parameter of the Joomla configuration. so normally, you would just have to change that parameter with the new URL of the website.

It is currently set as follows

public $live_site = '';

Will changing it to the following impact my site other than updating the HikaShop receipt?

public $live_site = ' cirewear.com/ ';

The website crashes when I change
public $live_site = '';

to

public $live_site = 'cirewear.com/';

in the configuration.php file.

Any ideas?
