Default billing address? was created by killnine
-- HikaShop version -- : 1.4.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 45
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : N/A
I recently integrated my store with JFBConnect to make it easier to users to tie into their social media accounts.
We received a report from a user that, after connecting with their Google+ account, their billing address became some default address that the original web developer set up:
imgur.com/SaCKyFn
Is it clear how this might happen? I checked in Dispay -> Custom Fields and didn't see any defaults set up.

Hi,
In HikaShop, each address is linked to a user.
If the user logs in during the checkout, the addresses linked to his user account will display automatically so that he doesn't have to enter it again.
So what you're describing indicates that JFBConnect would have login the customer with an existing user account instead of creating a new user account for him.
It could also be that the user account for that address had been deleted via the database and the corresponding address not deleted, still pointing to a non existing user account, and when JFBConnect created the user account for that person it ended up with the same id as that previous user account and thus he had that address.

Thanks, Nicolas!
I suspected that maybe an account was removed and a new user filled the spot inadvertantly. I created some new accounts and assigned existing accounts to a social media name and couldn't reproduce the result. I don't think this is a systemic issue and it's probably just a leftover from an old account or setup during the site's rollout. Yuck.
