Guest Checkout not working

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.29

For some reason unkwon to me the guest check has suddenly stopped working on my cart. In fact the option to select it seems to have also disapeared from my settings/config area. I have a current subscription to a commercial version so i cant really understand why this has happened. Any help would be appreciated.
