Wrong password gives FTP error

When the user enters an incorrect password, the site throws:

35 JFTP: :append: Bad response

Is there some file or directory that the webserver user must write?

I am sorry but I don't see the link with HikaShop.
The FTP Layer (JFTP) is provided by the Joomla core and not HikaShop.
