invoice on checkout

hi

how do i enable print invoice on checkout or atleast give the shopper the option to print an invoice for statuses that are confirmed.

on checkout shopper will just get a message

While the code you'll find there can be used in your case to add it to your payment method end file (plugins/hikashoppayment/collectondelivery/collectondelivery_end.php), it's not exactly the same since the default thank you page of HikaShop now has a link to the order details. It's just the payment methods own end file which don't.

maybe a miss configuration?
or an override, what is the view for the checkout page?

As I said, that's the case if the payment method doesn't have its own end file. But the collect on delivery payment method do. So you need to modify that file in that case plugins/hikashoppayment/collectondelivery/collectondelivery_end.php as I explained.
