Checkout only when quantity is divideable

Hi,

we need a function that checks the total quantity (or weight) and only let the customers to checkout when the quantity (or weight) is
6, 12, 18, 24, ...

There should be a message which says for example:
"You must add x articles in your cart for completing your order."

Can anyone make this coding for us?

Hi,

No coding is required. You can create several manual shipping methods and in each one you enter a min and a max quantity (6, 12, 18, 24, ...). During the checkout, the shipping methods will be filtered out to only leave the shipping method corresponding to the curent quantity of all the products in the cart. And if there is no shipping method that match because the number is not a multiple of 6, it will display an error message and you can change that error message with a translation override:
