Minimum order amount before checkout

I was wondering if it's possible to set a minimum order amount when a customer is placing an order.
So for example, you need to add at least 100 euro worth of products to your basket, or you can not proceed / check out.
Is that possible and how do I do that?

Yes. In your shipping methods settings, you can use the "minimum price" setting to enter that amount. Then, when the amount in the cart is below that threshold, no shipping methods will be found and an error message will be displayed to the customer and block him from finishing the checkout.
And you can customize that error message with a translation override:
