Hello,
In Step 1 of my Checkout Workflow I have Override registration set to No and Show submit button set to Yes. This adds a small Register button after the user registration form.
I also have New User Account Activation set to none, so accounts are activated automatically upon registration.
However, after a successful registration, the registration form and button both disappear without any confirmation. I'd like to have a clear success message confirming that the account was created successfully.
I understand you can set an e-mail to fire at this step, but during the checkout process the user is left to click on the next button to continue the process after assuming the registration went well.
There is already a mechanism for Hikashop to display error messages at this step. For instance, if I attempt to register a new account under an existing username, I get:
This appears to be handled by Javascript via
and `
Please consider adding a success message inside the Login block of the checkout upon successful registration. Something along the lines of "Your account has been created successfully. You may now continue with the checkout process."
If this mechanism already exists please let me know how I can add it to my existing workflow.
Thanks in advance,
Brett

Hi Brett,
Thanks for your feedback.
You're right, there was no such message: after a successful registration with the automatic activation, the customer is logged in and the login block simply becomes empty.
We've added it for the next version of HikaShop: in that case, the login block should now display "Your account has been created. You can now continue with your order." The text can be changed with a translation override of the key HIKA_REGISTRATION_SUCCESS_CONTINUE.
