Unable to select shipping method

I am unable to select the shipping and payment method on the front end.
When i select 'next', it automatically selects the first shipping and payment method

It seems that you have a template issue, please try to disable the option "Use bootstrap design" in Configuration > DIsplay > Main. That way you should see the radio button to select the desired methods.

Then if you don't want that the payment and shipping methods be automatically selected, you can check your settings under Configuration > Checkout and disable the option to auto select the methods.
