relation between payment and shipping method

I need to cretae the following business scenario:

When customer selects manual pickup as shipping method he can choose to pay online through ideal or pay cash on pickup
When customer selects other shipping method he cannot choose to pay cah on pickup and must pay online

I'm looking in the area of restrictions on payment methods but i don't see any possibility to link shipping method and payment method together.

Does Hikashop facilitates this business scenario? If so what version do I need?

Yes, you can do that in all the editions of HikaShop. For that, simply tick the "restrictions" checkbox on the options page of your payment methods and you will get the list of all the possible restrictions, including the restriction on the shipping methods.
