shipping cost calculated by cart value

So basically this is what my client is requesting pertains to shipping costs. :sick: :woohoo:

1.) shipping - domestic/int'l (always tricky, I bet hickashop has some support for this) - would love to finally solve this properly - key is to be conservative and not lose $ on shipping (or provide free for > $100)
so basically set shipping cost in tiers..
less than 25$ = shipping cost x1$
26 to 50$ = shipping cost x2$
51 to 75 $ = shipping cost x3$
76 to 100$ = shipping cost x4$
over 100$ = free


Any way to accomplish this task?

Hi,

That's quite easy to do.
Create a manual shipping method via the menu System>Shipping methods for each price range and in each one, in the restrictions area, enter the min and max prices of the range and then the name and price of the shipping method.
The system will then filter out the shipping methods on the checkout to only display the one with the min/max prices matching the current total of the cart.
