Product Shipping Price By Weight

Great Component!
I need to set up the shipping pricing by weight e.g.

0.00 kg - 0.50 kg = 3.00 GBP

1.00 kg - 1.00 kg = 3.00 GBP

1.50 kg - 2.00 kg = 6.00 GBP

5.00 kg - 10.00 kg = 22.00 GBP

etc.

What would be the best way of achieving this, can Hikashop calculatethe shipping by a product's weight ?

Do you have a link explaining how to set this up ?

Any input will be much appreciated.

So i have 3 different products
phone - 1kg
phone cover - 0.50kg
phone charger - 0.70kg

So say the customer buys 2 phones and 1 cover - that would be
2kg + 0.50kg
= 2.5kg
How can i get Hikashop to calculate the pricing for that and other combinations ?

Hi,

In the shipping methods, you can set a price and you can restrict the shipping method for a specified weight.
So you have to create many shipping methods with different restrictions and different weight.

Ex:
from 0kg to 0.5kg = 1€ > 1st shipping method
from 0.5kg to 1kg = 1.5€ > 2nd shipping method
etc.
