Shipping based on price not volume

Is it possible to have a shipping charge for price range of a product rather than volume

e.g $1 - $15 -- shipping charges $3

The restrictions of shipping methods are checked for the whole order, not per product.
So if you use them to setup shipping methods with price range, if you have two products costing $1, the shipping fee will be $3 not $6.
If you want the shipping fee to be $6 in that case, you would have to create a manual shipping method with the "shipping price per product" turned on and then in each product configure the shipping price for that shipping method for that product.

I am not clear on what you mentioned

I wanted to do for the whole order if it was between $1 - $30 TO BE $5.95
$30 - $50 be 7.95

so if the whole order is between these price ranges i charge particular shipping.

How do I set this up

The solution will be to create manual shipping methods and use the "Price" option for your shipping price, and the "Minimum/Maximum price" options for the price range.

The file attachment shows problem but i want it like

Ground Shipping

$0 - $70 = $9.95
$71 - $200 = $ 15.95
$201 - $500 = $24.95

How do i do this ?

Indeed you can add only one price at a time, so you have to create many shipping methods.
It can be many times the same one, but just with different fees depending on the order price.
