USPS Error during checkout - Please Help!!!

Manual shipping is working fine, but if you enable USPS, you get the following error: Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/heavenly/public_html/plugins/hikashopshipping/usps/usps.php on line 175

I get the error with or without manual shipping is enabled, so I'm leaving it on right now so you can see the error.

I have a correct USPS Webtools ID. I have unstalled and reinstalled with same issue. No restrictions set, units match, just not sure what I'm missing here. Client is getting hot about this problem holding up launch, so quick help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you download the last Hikashop version through our website, install it and test it again ?
Note that you should also turn OFF the "Error Reporting" option through "Administration->Global configuration->Server".

Upgraded to 2.3.1 now and the error is gone, but I'm not getting any shipping pricing now. I just have the USPS plugin module enabled right now with no restrictions. Attached is the settings I do have on.

Sorry for the late reply, your issue is coming from the fact that you unpublished the "address_country" custom field for your front-end through "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields".
The solution will probably be to use this last version of the USPS shipping plugin :


Note that with that version, if you disabled the country field, the country will be automatically set to US.

That worked! Thanks so much. Didn't even dawn on me that removing that country option would be the problem. Thanks for having a USPS version that bypasses that.
