Australia post ungrouped products issue

I am having an issue with the Australia post plugin for hikashop.

If I change "Group products together" to no. I get the error "The cart items combined volume is too big for all the possible shipping methods". If its set to group, it does work out the postage.

However if more than one product is ordered, the postage price is the same. With grouped selected it does not seem to identify that each product will need to be in its own box. Being hampers they do need to be sent individually.

This issue has only become known recently as all customers till now have only ordered 1 product at a time.

I have installed the latest version of hikashop and still getting the same issue.

Ok so after updating hikashop I now get the correct postage pricing calculated on the first cart page if the user has an address elready entered into their account.

However I am still getting the issue of when selecting the shipping method the error "The cart items combined volume is too big for all the possible shipping methods"

I have attached some images of how i have the aus post shipping method and products confirgured.

Can you show me what kind of shipping address you are using ? Also, note that your product is probable too big/heavy.

Ok so it does appear to be a dimensions issue. Weight is not a problem as i tried doubling the weight with no problems.

The strange this is that when items are grouped with the correct dimensions of my products the postage price never changes (i.E $18 for 1 or 5 of the same product is always the same) but the order can go through, however the postage cost is a lot higher than is calculated by the Aus Post module.

Yet if I tell hikashop to separate the products it gives the error above.

Our products are collected by australia post dailey from phone orders and have never had an issue with them for any of our products. So the calculations from the aus post module are not working correctly.

I've fixed some part of the Australia Post code, so a solution can be to use that custom version to see if it fix your issue.

The Australia Post shipping plugin is only displaying what the Australia Post platform is returning.

Preliminary testing shows it working fine now.

OK further testing shows your changes work with multiples of a single product.

However if a client chooses to purchase two separate products it reverts back to the postage price of one product and will not change regardless of the number ordered.

I.E 4 X Products x = $49 postage
4 X Product x + 1 product y = $18 postage

I just tested it on my end and it worked fine, note that a tried to access to your back-end but I'm currently having a "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet." error message.
