Shipping Different countries

Hello,

I would like to deliver my products to many countries but the delivery fee will be different depending on the location. I tried configuring the custom fields but i can't seem to make it right.

I have two countries ( UAE and Russia), both have different cities. The cities should have different shipping fees. How can i configure that?

You just have to create several shipping methods and use the shipping restrictions.

I have tried that but the restrictions don't affect the zones. It only gets affected when a country is changed. I need cities different price.

If you want a more precise zone restriction than only one city/country, you'll have to directly :
- Create a custom shipping zone through "Hikashop->System->Zones" and add in that zone every country/cities where you want your shipping method to be used.
- Add that zone on the "zone" restriction option of your shipping method.

I'm following up on this subject which seems the closest to my problem.
I also want to be able to ship products to different countries and have the shipping proposed according to the country and the weight of the product.
Which is the bests way to do this??
- Do I specify all the different possibilities (France, Europe, Other countries) in the product description itself,
But it seems to me that if the customer orders several products they will be overpaying delivery costs (due to cumulated pricing)
- or is it better to not specify a price in the product and create the different options in the shipping methods.

How can I automatically calculate shipping according to the total weight of my order (i.e. several products cumulated) and not on a per product basis??

Hi,

You should not set the shipping price in your products in that case. Instead, set the weight in them.
Then, create manual shipping methods via the menu System>Shipping methods and for each one, enter the zone and the weight range (with the minimum and maximum weight fields) for which that shipping method should be in the restrictions section of its options page, and set the price corresponding to that weight range/zone.
That way, the system will automatically filter the shipping method(s) on the checkout to display only the ones matching with the address of the customer and with the total weight of the products in the cart.
