Shipping Address - USA only - Billing Anywhere

Hi Guys,

I need to setup that when the customer gets to checkout, they can set their billing address - anywhere in the world but on their shipping address USA only. Is that possible?

If I use Zone settings, it also sets Billing to USA only... But some people are purchasing outside USA and collecting in USA....

Shipping method restriction doesn't stop the form displaying all zones in shipping address

How can I achieve that?

Besides restricting the shipping methods by zone, there is no solution for now as the custom address fields are the same for both the billing and shipping addresses.
That's something we want to improve in the future with the new checkout system we're working on.
For now, the only solution is to modify the code in the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/field.php but you need to be a developer to be able to do that.

Hi,

We've started the ground work with HikaShop 3.0 (which will be released in a few weeks/months) so that it is possible to do that in the future. But we're not there yet.
For now, I would recommend to add custom javascript code to the page in order to add your checks. If you're a javascript developer, it shouldn't be a problem adding that in the website.
