FedEx amounts incorrect when item had no variant

If any of my products have variants and the weight and dimensions are input into the variant, the FedEx shipping amounts appear close enough. If on a product with no variant and the weight and dimensions are entered on the main product page. The amount for shipping that product is way to low.

Example product with no variant and a weight of 18 lbs shows shipping for $13 USD
Product with variants and a weight of 4.5 lbs shows a shipping charge of $18.74 USD

Can you show us some screenshots of how you configured your FedEx shipping method and of the products that were on your cart so that I can correctly reproduce it on my end ?

Payment plugin is in sandbox mode, so if you need to go through the check out process no orders will be placed. FedEx shipping is live though and should be giving the correct shipping amounts.

Products to test are kettle corn and basket, kettle corn showing correct and basket is way too low of price.
