Shipping methods do not refresh on change of delivery address. was created by mikekiy

-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.15

Hello,

How can we get Hikashop to refresh the delivery options on save of an address? At present we have to save the address then refresh the page.

Are you using the legacy checkout system or the new ajax checkout system from HikaShop 3.x ?

Hello,

The new system. It appears the shipping block refresh is not activated on edit save, it is on address select but not edit save. What is the trigger for this? I've tried a few with no luck.

Hi,

We don't have that issue on our end.
Could you first download the install package on our website and install it on yours in order to get all the latest patchs ? Do you still have the problem after that ?
If you do, could you provide a link to the shop and the instructions to reproduce the problem ?

Hello Nicolas,

On checkout try changing the shipping address and save, the price isn't updated I can't seem to find the trigger to cause the shipping plugins to refresh.

Note, we are using the Select list for addresses.

Hi,

Thanks. We've added a patch to fix that.
Download the install package on our website and install it on yours in order to get the patch and it should then work properly.

Is it still version 3.0.1? I have downloaded the latest zip file from "My subscriptions" and sources are quite different but version numbers are the same.

Thanks Nicolas, but can you confirm where the fix was added? I have template overrides in place for quite a few sections and after installing the latest release it didn't make a difference.

Hi,

@slavab : Yes, we didn't change the version number, just added patches to it. And all these patches will be in the 3.0.2 and in its changelog when we release it, together with new features.

@mikekiy : The patch for that bug was done in the file administrator/components/com_hikashop/helpers/checkout/address.php

Hi,

We've actually added a new patch just now to fix something else related to that issue.
The patches are in administrator/components/com_hikashop/classes/address.php and administrator/components/com_hikashop/cart.php
So I would recommend redownloading the package again to get the new patch. It should definitely work with it.
