Shipping display for virtual items

Is there a way to eliminate displaying the shipping options in the cart and in the invoice email for items that are virtual (like files)? So, if all items in the cart are downloadable files, we don't want shipping options to show up, because people think we are actually going to send them something. I looked at the shipping method definitions and the product definitions and I can't find anything. We also sell products that actually require shipping, so we can't just change the templates to not show shipping options at all.

Sure, to do that you'll just have to set the "Force shipping regardless of weight" option to NO via "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout".
