USPS Shipping include discount

We want to use the USPS shipping method, but it's coming out high, and we don't want to gouge our customers.

We actually use Shipstation to send packages, but if i understand correctly there is no shipstation postage calculation we can use with hikashop.

How can we get the calculated rates to better match our actual shipping costs? It seems like the plugin is calculating what USPS calcs to the general public, but is there a way they can add a discount to our account to make it more realistically like what we are actually charged?

Hello Cheryl,

There's actually no option to control what's returned from the USPS platform as the Hikashop USPS shipping plugin is only responsible of :
- Sending your customer order information (shipping address, product weight / dimensions, ..) during the checkout to the USPS platform
- Retrieving and displaying data returned by the USPS platform

However, a solution can be to directly add a negative value through the "Percentage" option through your shipping method configuration page to reduce the shipping price returned by USPS.
