Mondial Relay default weights

Hi,

I have a problem in the 'specific configuration' with the table (Weight / Price) in the 'Rates' part.

If i create a new shipping method with the Mondial Relay plugin : the name and this part is filled automatically :



If I delete lines in another 'Mondial Relay' entry, the lines are deleted if at least 1 line remains.



But if there are no lines left, they all come back (the same lines).
They seem to be saved somewhere and added by default when this part is empty.

I didn't have this problem at the beginning, I think.

Hello,

Mondial Relay includes default values for the shipping rates.
If your configuration is considered as empty (without any rates), then the plugin load the default ones.
You cannot use the plugin without rates, you must have at least one (with the maximum weight you accept).
So the behavior you have a normal.

Ok, I understand.
In our case, you have delivery methods that become free from a order amount.
As a result, we have a "Mondial Relay (free)" delivery method starting from a minimum price which is only displayed when this price is reached.
For the other delivery modes (free), we just left this part empty.

What do you think would be the best way to do this?
Keep one line and set the maximum weight to '999999999' (it's just an example, because as you said, I think we should put the maximum weight we want) and the price to '0'?

Where do these default prices come from and are they automatically updated and take into account the country for example?

Yes you can have a line with a price "0" in order to provide free shipping starting from a weight.

The "default prices" were coming from the Mondial Relay documentation, so there is already a grid for coherent prices.
They do not provide any API to fetch them and keeping up-to-date is complicated since we won't change the configured prices in website and we can't notify or have details regarding the store who want to change its prices.
So the grid is an indication which need to be tweak depending your needs.

If you want to have pickup-points in different countries, you need to create multiple mondial relay plugin instances with country restriction.
Each instance will have its own price grid that you can find in the Mondial Relay website.
