Hi,
is there any way to disable the PayPal Cron that automatically authorizes payments for orders with pending status?
We are not instantly capturing the payment from paypal, because we have to manually check the legitimacy of the order first. With the version update to 6.7.1 (from 6.6.x) there came a cron task which automatically captures the authorized payments.
Or is there another way around this, I am not seeing at the moment?

Thank you for the report: this is a bug in the PayPal Checkout plugin, not something a setting is meant to cover. Since 6.7.1, a scheduled task of the plugin checks the orders in the pending status every 10 minutes, to confirm payments such as iDEAL that PayPal completes later. PayPal reports an authorized payment as completed too, so the task confirms your authorized orders, and confirming an order is what triggers the capture when "Instant capture" is off.

We have fixed it: the task now leaves authorized orders alone, and the capture only happens when you confirm the order yourself, as before.

Download the install package of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours in order to get the patch.

Thank you so much for this awesome support! I already downloaded the patched version, placed a test order and triggered the cron. No confirmation on my paypal authorized payment - wonderful! I can't thank you enough for this quick solution!
