I'm Hikashop user (and not a salesman).
Did you hear about Payplug, French company, competitor to Paypal, cheaper and which system doesn't need the customer to have a personnal account ?

Hi,

We can add it to our list (50 payment plugins in our TODO list at the moment) but it's not a priority for us. We already support around 10 other payment gateways for France and all of them don't require a personal account INCLUDING PayPal, if you have a Business merchant account.

This Payplug solution doesn't require any registration at all for the customer.
The commission is 2.5% HT

Most of french banks have lower commissions and no registration as well. I would recommend to contact your bank and see with them what they can offer you, we integrate with all of the french banks as far as I know.
