Conecting goods to payment

Is there a way to connect a payment method to goods in the store?

I want i.e that goods that costs more then 1000,- euro has to be prepaid by invoice and under 1000,- can be paid by cod.

If you edit your payment methods via the menu System>Payment methods, you can tick the "restrictions" checkbox in the options of each payment methods and fill the "minimum price" and "maximum price" options if you don't want to offer that payment method for orders below or above a certain value.
