PayPal redirection error

A couple of months ago I discovered that customers using IE 6-8 would often get impatient and click the "Pay Now" button when being redirected to paypal. No popup would appear and the redirection would stop so you would effectively have to start the order process over.

I fixed this by editing one of the core php payment files and removing the "Pay now" button. I only now realize that having updated hikashop this change was reverted.

This file doesn't seem to be available in the views menu. How can make this change permanently so that I don't have to fix it every time I update?

Hi,

You do not need to edit the core file to change the "paypal_end" view, you can do it using view override.
It is like doing a classical view override in Joomla but in the path : "templates/YOUR_FRONTEND_TEMPLATE/hikashoppayment/paypal/paypal_end.php"
Just copy the original file and make your modification there.

Jerome made a typo, it should be:
"templates/YOUR_FRONTEND_TEMPLATE/hikashoppayment/paypal_end.php"

template overrides of the Hikashop component are indeed inside "templates/YOUR_FRONTEND_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop" but not overrides for plugins compatible with the HikaShop component.

There is no such possibility. The goal of that page is to place an order and redirect to PayPal.
