Payment Plugin: What is the following?

In the "Specific configuration" block, what does the Yes/No next to "Booking status notification" do?

Thanks to give us the used payment method
As it's "specific configuration" it is not present in all the payment methods.

"HikaShop bank transfer payment plugin"

The default text of that option is "Order status notification" (which you changed to "Booking status notification") and it allows you to send a status notification email or not if you set the option above to something else than created.
So in your case you can keep it turned off.
