Credit card payement settings

Hello,

I read a lot about payments to figure out exactly what to do, but I get more confused. In such cases I felt like an idiot.
The bank to which it is the virtual POS sent me plugin and guidance, but I do not understand anything. Is there an option to make any settings in plug in that you offer and make it work?

If your bank gave you a plugin to integrate HikaShop with their payment gateway solution, then it's easy to setup:
1. install the zip via the Joomla installer.
2. go in the menu System>Payment methods of HikaShop and create a new payment method and select the payment plugin you just installed and you'll be able to configure it with the merchant identification information that your bank provided you.

If they didn't give you a plugin to integrate HikaShop with their payment gateway solution, but simply an "integration kit", it means that basically they told you to develop your own payment plugin for HikaShop. If you're not a developer, that would require hiring one to have that plugin developed for you (unless such plugin already exists).

They give me an "integration kit" and the help they gave me was in one sentence, and it was: "we have given you all the files you find a way to do it".

Otherwise, you can use another bank for which there is already a payment plugin available in HikaShop, or a third party payment gateway like PayPal, CardSave, etc.

i have tried all the payment gateway available in hikashop but i have not been able to set up a payment system with them because they dont run their operation in my country of residence (Nigeria) and all the payment gateway that run there operation in Nigeria dont have a plugin in hikashop. I am stuck left hanging here because am tired of searching. The credit card plugin could help but i dont know how to set up a manual back end credit card receiver. Am not a programmer so if hikashop can help me set this up i would be happy because i have API's and other information to do this but am lost, infact i have no idea.

You can use methods like "Check", "Bank transfer" or "Collect on delivery", but if you want payment by credit card, we recommend to ask to "cardsave", "2checkout" or "worldpay" to see if your country is managed by these payment methods.
