Payment Zone Charges

Hi
We face some problem when setting up charges for payment zone

We created two payment zone A & B

We created one custom field in address for payment zone as zone

We included Singapore and Malaysia country as sub-zone of A & B

We created payment method with payment zone restriction, zone B extra $30

But, not matter we select A or B in the address , all payment method appeared regardless of our zone restriction in payment method

Can you please confirm?

The zone restriction setting of payment methods automatically uses the "address_state" and the "address_country" fields of the address of the user. There is no system to use another custom field.

But if the payment zone are not to use be like this, what is it original purpose?

Hi,

It's original purpose is to be used to create groups of countries and states, so that you could easily select the payment zone in the "zone" restriction setting of payment methods. Then, the system would automatically display the payment methods based on the state/country selected by the customer.
