Dubai / Middle East Payment Gateways

We are setting up a site for a company based in Dubai

What payment gateway have other Hikashop users been successful with for the Middle East and Dubai?

Any information or guidance would be great.

Due to the specific requirements in the UAE from Hikashop users experience which payment gateways are most suitable for eCommerce sites there?

On our end, we're not familiar with the UAE requirements and I don't know which payment gateway supports these requirements.

What I can say though is that the AED, the currency of the UAE, is supported by at least Skrill, SagePay, Stripe and Elavon VirtualMerchant payment gateways, for which you'll find payment plugins for HikaShop.
If these payment gateways supports the AED, I can only think that they abid to the requirements from the UAE since the AED is only used there.
So I would start looking at them.

However, the merchant gateway for UAE business must be connected to a UAE bank.

Therefore none of the options currently available are suitable. Effectively this means that Hikashop cannot be used in the UAE.

Options would be:

Payfort
Telr
Checkout.com (not 2checkout.com)

What is the process to have an integration say for Payfort? Can we go direct through Hikashop or can you recommend a third party?
