multi cart option not working

I have disabled the Enable multi cart options its shows the normal checkout page. Again I have Enable multi cart options multicart page is not loaded since normal checkout page are shown.
If any other options are availbale to enable the multicart page.

That option allows you to have access to a carts listing area in your user control panel so that you can have several carts, move products from one cart to another, and select the current cart to be used for the checkout and cart module.
That option doesn't change anything to the checkout page.
