Is there any light at all on this. I have had to resort to building 3 sites in Woocommerce now which I loath but when a clients requirement includes afterpay I currently have no choice.

Hello,

As we previously said, we don't have any testing AfterPay account as they still didn't gave us a favorable response for our test account request.
If you're interested we can eventually make you test it so that we can finally complete that integration.

We were actually waiting for an email of rodfarrell to send him a testing plugin, but if you're interested we can eventually make you test it so that we can finally complete that integration.

So timely, my clients are starting to ask for AfterPay as well. However it is a bit concerning that the company is not communicating.

I email them on a regular basis since I paid to have the plugin developed. I hope that at some stage they get it to work. I have an afterpay account now and perhaps I can have a play in the back end to test it. Can you send me the afterpay plugin and I will give it a go.

We actually sent it to "mieprint" as he is the man who had paid for the development and who have now an Afterpay account.

But he didn't replied since we sent it to him, so we'll contact him again and if he doesn't reply we'll choose another tester..

Hi , is there any further developments on this, or does anyone know of a developer that has an afterpay plugin that I could purchase?
I also have a client that wants afterpay as part of their site that I am currently in development. Its almost an essential for australian businesses these days.

I now build 50% of sites in Woocommerce which I absolutely hate but have no choice because Australian businesses want Afterpay. It really is an absolute deal breaker.

I also have done the same about 8 months ago. I have ditched Joomla all together because of Hikashop not keeping up to date. I initially had my own Afterpay plugin developed as I did with ZIP, TNT and StarTrack but the upkeep was too costly so I have gone to Woocommerce where all these are readily available.
I gave Hikashop my plugin files but it appears nothing has been done with them. I even offered my sandbox account. Woocommerce is a little more resource intensive but once you get around all that and understand what work best with what it works quite well and now won't look back to Joomla or Hikashop.
I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

wow ok, bit crazy that Hikashop are not reconising how important this is to their australia customers. Thanks for the replies, I'll definately consider the woocommerce option

Don't get me wrong, Compared to Hikashop Woocommerce is a horrible alternative. It is clunky, lacks a lot of basic functionality and requires a heap of plugins to do anything useful but if Afterpay is required as is the case with most Australian businesses now it is the best alternative to Hikashop.
