Square payment plugin not passing purchase details to Square

We're using the Square payment plugin to process credit card payments, but it does not pass on any details about the purchase to the Square dashboard, just the timestamp and amount.

Is there a way to have it send at least the order or invoice number, or better yet, the customer name with Square?

Thank you for your feedback ! There's actually no option to do it for the moment but that's a great idea which is actually on our TODO list.

I would also find this useful.
I believe it is also possible to pass details of the products ordered to square via the catalog API so that would be good too.
