Some card payments via PayPal stay "Registered" was created by Andor

Hi,
We've been running our Hikashop/Joomla setup for some years now (...yes, we are building for Joomla 3/4 as we speak
).
Around 5% of all card/PayPal payments end up with status Registered and there is no trace of them on our PayPal account. The rest, 95%,are updated to "Paid" and the funds are handled by PayPal as supposed.
What issues should I look for, in order to fix this?
Thanks,
Andor

Hello,
First, in this case of situation the method will be "to produce some clues", for this 2 points :
- Active the debug function of your Paypal method, in order to get data in your log file .
- Search information in your Paypal merchant account (or Paypal support)
The point is when you have an order with your previous described issue, to analyze from these data what can be the root issue.
For now, you have to wait that this kind of order emerge again to be able to progress on this subject.
Hope this will make us progress on your subject.
Regards
