Unable to add new payment method after updating

Hi there,

I just updated the Hikashop Starter version to 4.7.4 in order to add the new Paypal Checkout payment method.

Unfortunately when I click the New button, the following page fails to load properly - please see the attached image.

I tried re-installing Hikashop Starter but still get the error. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi,

You have an old payment plugin which isn't up to date.
Turn on the "debug" setting of the joomla configuration and display that page again and the error message at the bottom of the page should point out which plugin is the problem.
Then, either update it or uninstall it if you're not using it and it will fix the problem.

In case it helps someone else, it seems that the plugin causing the problem was called: HikaShop Platron payment plugin. It was already disabled so I had to uninstall it - no problem since it was not being used.
