Popup Window Blocks Paypal Checkout

When checking out with the new paypal plugin, a popup window comes up and blocks the paypal payment window. It seems its an integrated payment process but there is also a popup window that is blank. Disable the popup window and it will work smoothly. Otherwise people won't see paypal payment window until they close popup window.

Can we get this fixed? Old paypal plugin is obsolete this one isn't quite completed yet.

And according to this, there is a plugin to configure for this in Joomla:

It seems to me that in the plugin, you need to set the "Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy" option to "same-origin-allow-popups"
